@ahpollyolly You're right- dull pop songs played while standing too close to their amps. But back in 1985 it sounded like nothing we had heard before. Our parents heard us listening to that and became worried...which is what rock 'n' roll (and punk rock) is really all about. JAMC's crushing noise...
