Hi, I don't have my sarod with me at this moment (it's being fixed), so I can't answer you precisely. About 2cm high. Apart from the row of holes which take the chikaris, there are two holes on either end which take a string to tie the bridge in place.
How high your bridge is will also depend on how tight your skin is.

My dream is to form a small garage band (trio) to play tunes like this, converting these sad malayalam songs in blues style, in a slightly rock version using drums, Bass Piano and guitar.
