Emergency No Flaps Landing at JFK
KC to LGA flight diverted to JFK due to flap malfunction. Emergency vehicles on site as precaution.
Could anyone tell me if a tire was blown during this landing? My friend thinks it did, I say the noise is the pilot applying the bakes very hard.

My Time in the 2/10 Air Cavalry
My time served in the 2/10 Air Cavalry, Fort Ord, California (1977 to 1980).
Buffalo Soldiers.
I served with the HHT 2/10 ACS from 1984 to 1986. I really miss those days. Loved Fort Ord and the Monterey area.
