About this user
- There are many reasons to preserve trees ,
Forests , and woods, and to plant trees , replant forests and establish community woodlands because Trees and our Forests make are an integral component of our biosphere, , creating and stabilising the soil , creating oxygen , absorbing carbon dioxide and storing it , and are a key component of the hydrological cycle responsible partly for our climate and clean drinking water which they filter to purity
They provide us with shelter , from winds , and shade from heat and give homes to an abundance of wild life . The Oak tree itself hosts over 500 species of wild life alone in Ireland ...
Forests have for thousands of years provided much of the raw materials for humanity through fostering a woodland culture which existed for thousands of years and still does in some countries today .
For our modern society it is often to places of beauty , to natural places that we turn when seeking inner peace , or relaxation . For those fortunate enough it is to the woods and forests .
