Twiz Mack aka the Fayettenam Pharoah is a man definitely worthy of the title. Conquering the streets of fayetteville NC, a region known for showing little support to it's local artist, Twiz has gained the respect and support of the region. Twiz's in the street marketing approach has reached out to hoods all over the North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Virgina Region inspiring others follow their dreams.His legend grows as his music spreads, which was his vision to reach a position of power in the Carolina Region, without having to rely on Radio.

Twiz is well known for his own unique style and heart felt lyrics which he characterizes as the "Carolina sound."In an interview Twiz stated "I think I stand out so much because I'm true to me and where I'm from, Carolina is a balance between to north and south that's reflected in my music."True Indeed, you can hear up north vocab with downsouth soul and crunkness in his lyrics. Being true to where he's from can largely explain the success of his hood 2 hood vol.1 and vol.2 mixtaptes. Twiz features some of the most respected artist and people in his region on his cd, making it known as that official undeground carolina music. While other artist are running out and paying big money for mainstream features for their cd, Twiz is making the kind of name for himself and local artist on his cd that will make mainstream artist come look for him as a feature. His tracks are largely produced with blazin hot beats from fayetteville's well known trillanoyz trax. Together they are setting a new standard for mixtapes in NC which accompany no jacked beats, only original Carolina Music.

Starting his own independent label "Divine Grind Records" Twiz has independently created his own buzz, sold thousands of units, recieved radio air play, produced his own music video and the list goes on. He as peformed in Concerts, block parties, clubs, college auditoriums, and television shows all over the region. Twiz continues to make magazine headlines, hip hop dvd footage etc. Twiz's "divine grind" has definitely paid off. He is a much sought after artist and will be a huge name in the hip hop industry in the time to come.
