@XXsteviegfunkXX I thought so too until I saw them live at ACL fest last month. You could hear and see Matt make the effect loud and clear as he plucked near the strings at the headstock. I remember clearly because I've always thought that part was so fucking uniqe and awesome.

I'm pretty sure a guitar synth piano patch is mixed into it as well.
