I think im really just good enough to be considered an average guitar player, there are a lot of talented guitarists out there.
Fortunately or unfortunately song writing many times has little to do with someones actual skill level of guitar playing. I've heard beautiful songs from people playing regular major chords I cant even name.
To sum it up this is a project of sorts. I've never shared any of my song writing with others and it actually took a good deal of pushing from a friend of mine to release some videos on youtube. I hope if anything i can learn something about myself through the experience and hopefully something about the nature of song writing; it's to say what people find enjoyable about the music I may be able to produce.
I appreciate any and all comments, good and bad. I encourage video responses by those maybe on the same track of song writing; a little material but not the confidence or push to put some of their independent music out there. I personally believe good music is on a rise, slowly but surely pushing out some of the market muggers that crowd our venues. Hop on the train. It's fun not knowing where it's going to let you off.
