About this user

Anthony Brady has been in love with music as long as he can remember. Given a steady diet of rock n roll growing up, Anthony has been playing music since his elementary school days, when he experienced and experimented with playing several different instruments (including clarinet, trombone, mandolin, trumpet, drums, the grade school staple, the recorder). He focused on playing drums for ten years, until he realized how much of a pain it is to carry a drum set around; so he picked up the guitar. To this day he still enjoys finding new instruments and learning how to play and make songs with them.

Hailing originally from Mansfield, Washington, Anthony Brady moved to Portland, Oregon when he was 18 and continued to make music, now playing not just drums but guitar proficiently enough to play in bands. From there on out, he did everything he could to make music every day. He took a more serious approach to playing guitar and even learned that he could sing with confidence. Since then, he has been a singing and songwriting his way through a variety of bands and musical endeavors that have helped him to sharpen his ever-increasing skills.

You may have come across one of his many projects over the years: Savage Henry & The Adrenachromes, The Language Found, Our Heros Journey, MåBL and So Many Roads. It is with these last few outfits that Mr. Brady has truly crossed the bridge from amateur to professional musician: Sold out shows, multiple recordings and a strong work ethic have all proven that Anthony Brady is an artist with a vision, and a guitarist who knows how to stroke those strings.

He has shared the stage with Floater, Odyssey, Fluid, Sheltered Red, Black Haze, Joseph To The Lions, Derick Wiley, Mike Sprigo, Stalking Jane, Tell The Truth, Rokopolis, Bad Strip, Keel Over, The Villains, Waiting In Vain, Wet Pig, Jason & The Punknecks, and Beth Willis (just to name a few)

Anthony Brady is dedicated to bringing fresh, original music to the Northwest music scene. When asked to describe music in less than ten words, Anthony replied, Its impossible to think of life without it. Truer words were probably never spoken.

As far as honest, passionate, deeply soulful rock and roll goes, Anthony Brady would probably think it equally impossible to imagine his life without making the kind of music that just reaches in and grabs you.
