My name is Anthony Grant. I am a 24 year old singer, songwriter, pianist, and composer. I have been been singing since the age of 7, writing songs since I was 14, playing piano since I was 17, and composing since I was 18. I grew up in church singing, but did not realize that I had the gift to sing until I was 16 years old.

Vocally, I have been heavily influenced by Whitney Houston and Luther Vandross. I have also been greatly inspired by Mariah Carey and Peabo Bryson.

My favorite music and my own music deal with the human experience. I think it is great when someone writes a song about their experiences, but I think it takes greater talent to capture the emotion of someone else's experience through song. I think that Babyface, Michael Masser, and Narada Michael Walden are excellent songwriters and composers. Ne-Yo, in my opinion is the most prolific and gifted songwriter and composer of my generation.

All and all, I am a pop singer who sings R&B while infusing my gospel (and some of my classical) roots in my music.
