No, I obviously have preservation preferences different from yours and offer a viable need and reason for it! BTW: More and more untouched "Original" judging classes are emerging in the collector world and at a premium I should add.

It has a vacuum leak plus it is idling too high. It's not a ford or a chevy.
BTW: There is a guy on the AACA Buick Forums that rebuilds/replaces the dash board foam pads on the glove box and the one next to it to make them look factory fresh again.

Buick Straight Eights have a very Tractor like low-end torque band and cannot tolerate RPMs. The power is in the stroke and bore not the RPMs. Way too many chevy and ford neanderthals out there. Pity
