Scientology follows all the basic procedures identified to enhance brainwashing, practiced by the Moonies, Children of God, and every other major cult that existed (the US arny also uses most of these techniques as well....). Creating new jargon, social isolation of the members, promotion of a feeling of "specialness" and "better" than the non-members, love bombing....this is no religion. Hubbard himself said so.
