About this user

At one time called "The most respected Soprano in the North Bay Area" , Mrs. Julia Anderson has spent the last two decades as a dedicated wife and mother to her 9 children.
Formerly she sang leading roles with such West Coast Opera companies as the Anchorage Opera, Opera Reno, and Hayward Lyric Opera as well as many Opera Workshops with the University of Nevada-Reno. She has been a visiting artist with the Arts Council. Since retiring from Secular performance she has had the privilege of performing for Gov. Terry Branstad during the "March for Jesus" and Senator John McCain during his 2008 presidential campaign. Mrs. Anderson was honored to do a benefit concert for Campus Crusade for Christs efforts to help survivors of 9/11. She has also been weekly featured live singer on Christian Radio. Once a finalist in the Metropolitan Opera auditions she now sings for benefit concerts and Christian events in the Midwest.

Drake University/ University of Nevada-Reno B.A. in Music ( Opera Theatre Performance) and Modern European History. Studied Theatre, Dance, French, Italian, and German.

Interests

My family first and foremost but after that walking in the woods, photography, sight seeing, writing, Republican politics, touching lives with the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and evangelism.
