Ever Since Your Initial Run On "Days Of Our Lives," Back In The Early 1990's, When You Were Cast To Portray The Mysterious Character Of "Katerina Von Leuschner" or, a.k.a. "Dr. Carly Manning."
It Was, By All Accounts — A Memorable, Highly Individualized, Experience.
The Manner In Which You, Crystal, Personally Chose To "Act-Out On-Screen"
And Breathe-Life Into The Persona Of Katerina/Carly From Those Written Character Script Pages —
It Did Leave A Very Deeply-Engrained Mark On My Psyche — [Back Then, When I Was Merely Sixteen (16.)] — Perhaps it was because I saw myself in Katerina/Carly (1.0). Crystal Was Able Give Carly (1.0) "A Character-Soul" That Was Very Much Poignant, And Unique. For This Reason, Alone, Carly (1.0) Remains Close To My Heart To This Very Day — Some Eghteen Years Later... Imagine That Awesomeness! On An Aside Commentary, the meaning of Carly is "Free man." By Contrast, the meaning of Katerina is "pure." Given this particular character history, aren't the name meanings quite apropos, or in other words, very fitting and appropriate to the Character's History, and Role Portrayal? I happen to think so!
I Am So Very Grateful That Even At That Point In Time, When You, Yourself, Were Just Starting Out — Primarily As A Young Actress, Debuting In The Daytime, Soap-Opera Gendre.
