I'm a very simple, middle-aged so-called 'white' Mom of 1 son in his early to mid-20's who is half Swiss and half South African, born in Switzerland, but raised in Durban.

I only hope that I had my head screwed on really tight when I wrote my OWN 'blue print' before choosing to re-embark on this 'next' (hopefully LAST), oft' gruelling and equally as daunting, JOURNEY here on Earth!
Life has been really GREAT ~ I've been SO BLESSED, with so much to be thankful for ~ even if that isn't much in some others' eyes ~ it's THE WORLD to me! :)
Probably the GREATEST advice that I can ever offer ANY parent, anywhere in the world, is to NEVER EVER force YOUR OWN choice of religious beliefs on your child/ren. Simply trust that whatever you've chosen for SELF &/or SELVES as a couple, may not necessarily resonate at soul level with your child/ren. If that's the case, simply let it be, & don't force them into something that they can see the far grander picture of than each or both of you can. Forcing children into religious dogmas, is in my personal opinion, a form of child abuse, akin to encouraging &/or forcing one's own off-spring into any form of prostitution. So JUST DON'T DO IT! ~ & instead, forget your own ego/s & personal relationship/s with God, & JUST GET OVER IT!
