I loved drawing since I was 5 years old. I was really bad though, But I enjoyed it soooo much that i continued to draw until where I am now.

I started to draw anime during the beginning of seventh grade which was in 2010. So when I was 12.

I found out about anime after I found out about manga, and I don't really remember how I found that. I have to admit though Mark Crilley was the one who helped me get started. With his tutorials, it helped me get the face proportions, but only on a slight idea. Then I put my own little touch into the way I draw. And actually, I give a little bit of lessons of what I know to my cousin and my neighbor. But when people ask me where I learned, I say I'm self-taught. Don't get me wrong though, I am, Mark Crilley just helped me know about manga, and I just continued myself and TAUGHT myself for the rest of the way.

Now, not to brag or anything, many people were surprised to know that I was a beginner. They said my drawings were amazing especially when I said I just started.

Many people tell me that I'm a fast learner. They also tell me I should become a teacher when I grow up because I am great at teaching. But I'm not really sure yet.

To color, now (2011) I just use normal Crayola colored pencils; set of 50. I also have watercolor pencils. I use the Faber-Castell brand (set of 120). I really do like it. I also have Graphite pencils (set of 12) to help with shading if I'm just making a black and white picture; and again the brand is Faber-Castell. If you noticed, I also outline my pictures when I color, -that's just a normal felt-tip pen that you can find in Target or Walmart.

So now I'm just using normal materials, nothing professional or anything. But I do plan on getting Polychromos Artist colored pencils. I'm not sure whether or not to choose between Faber-Castell or Prismacolor, but I'll just ask around for what's the best. And I'm planning on getting the set of 120.
