Nach bhfuil tú go hiontach agus tú ag foghlaim Gaeilge, agus Gaeilge na hAlban chomh maith. Tá méid iontach mór feasa (fios) agus céille (ciall) san fhíseán Why are you learning Gaelic? Rudaí nár cheap mé orthu riamh, agus rudaí a bhfuil chomh ciallmhar agus chomh iontach le chloisteáil! Cuireann sé gliondar i mo chroí agus tú i mbun na heachtra seo, is rud é a spreagann sé mé chun labhairt na Gaeilge agus sult a bhaint aisti freisin. Go raibh míle maith agat, agus ádh mór! If you need a translation, let me know =D

Beautiful comments on your video about the death of Sophie Lancaster. You are are the kind of person who can be call a sister for people like us who are proud to be ourselves and to be different than the mainstream.

I will like to have you as a friend and thanks in advance for your beautiful words you have spoken.

Dear Marie, can you please explain to such unenlightened person as me, why people are aggressive or abusive in comments sometimes? It's just a language research, not the political debates. I just don't get it. Quite the opposite, the topic should attract people. I am Russian native living in U.S.A., speak 5 languages and I think you do the great job, because people like you helped me learn English, Polish, Spanish and Portuguese. They weren't interested in profit, just bare enthusiasm. Now I'm interested in history of Celtic culture and languages of Great Britain, and here you are, helping me my research. So, the question is - how can this channel even instigate people to be rude in comments? Is there any historical background behind people's agression? Thank you.

Just wanted to say that I think it's GREAT that you're learning a 'dying' language. It's ridiculous that people get it in their heads that a certain language is diminishing so therefore they should just avoid it and not learn it. I am an Irish American. I speak English and Spanish, because Spanish is most useful for where I live. I am currently trying to find a way to learn just basic Gaelic, just so I could sort of incorporate little pieces of it into my daily conversations here in the USA. I'd like to teach a little of it to my friends too.

In the USA, many European Americans have lost connection with their heritage, and I do not want to be one of them. I'm trying desperately to hold on to my Irish roots and to celebrate my heritage, and not just claim it on St. Patrick's day like so many Irish Americans do here.

Once again great job and I hope that you continue to learn and succeed in all of your language adventures.
