Excellent post m8. Your the only one ive seen on here like me who uses the issue PLCE Bergen & Basha etc for camping trips etc. Like you said its second to none, hard, cheaper & cammo! I use the "short back" Bergen always with the side pouches attached for wash kits, extra food etc = 120ltr as im only 5'9"! I use the DPM NI Patrol pack as a day sack. Is the LONGBACK really slightly largr than the SHORTBACK would you say? I always the use the MK4 NBC suit in the winter aswell as its solid and cheap and hard to rip.
