TRANSLATION NOTES:
"donchan-donchan ♪" / "Party Party ♪"
"Donchan" is derived from the sound of banging drums, like taiko drums. It's basically the sound of having a good time, so I translated this as "party party".
"sui mo amai mo wasurete sa" / "Forget both the bitter and the sweet."
I think most people will understand this as "forget both the good and the bad". I find it kind of interesting because there's a Japanese expression that says "Taste both the bitter and the sweet". It basically means "you should experience life," so I think another valid way of interpreting this line is "forget what you know about life".
The word "sharekoube" means 'skull', especially a beaten-up skull. It can also be interpreted as 'head' or 'the head of death'. I just went with skull because it simplified the line.
I tried replicate the effect of katakana (alphabet for foreign words in Japanese) usage in this song by making certain letters uppercase. It kind of makes the Kagamines' lines creepier.
I don't know who's crying at the end of the song but I think it's Miku. In her creepy fantasy, she is the star. It's her.
