Q: What are the minimum hardware requirements:
A:- 1 GHz 32-bit or 64-bit processor
- 1 GB of system memory
- 16 GB of available disk space
- Support for DirectX 9 graphics with 128 MB memory (to enable the Aero theme)
Q: Is this copy fully activated, genuine & updatable?
A: This is a genuine copy provided to you directly by Microsoft, so is 100% genuine and upgradable. No hacks or modification, Untouched same as retail copy version 7600.
Q: Can this be used as an upgrade from Windows Vista/XP?
A: It should be able to upgrade from vista, but XP there is no upgrade option only clean install.I would recommend a Clean Install over an upgrade, to ensure best performance.
Q: Does it support other languages?
A:Yes this supports ALL languages, including English, German, Arabic, French etc..
Q: After Installing windows 7, my wireless internet, sound and other devices are not installed.
A: This is because, its a fresh installation. You have to manually install the drivers (software) for your wireless internet. Go to the manufaturer website and select the model you have, and download the drivers.
Q: What is x64/x86 how do i choose?
Basically, a x86 (32 bit) can see and use up to 3.2 GB RAM
64 bit can see and use up to 4gb+ RAM The 64-bit version of Windows handles large amounts of (RAM) more effectively than a 32-bit system. So if you plan on using Windows 7 on a computer with more than 3 GB or RAM, I would strongly suggest to use the 64-bit version.
Q:What is a ISO file?
A: A .iso file is an image a CD or DVD. Basically a complete copy of the contents of a disc from start to finish. So all you need to do is burn it to DVD!
Q: How do i burn a .ISO file?
A: - Burn to a DVD using your favourite burning program (Nero, Imgburn etc.)
- or Copy the ISO file to a USB Device (no smaller than 4GB) using the Windows 7 USB/DVD Tool.
Q: Can I mount the .iso to a virtual CD and install windows 7
A: Yes you can use: Virtual CloneDrive or DAEMON tools
I'd recommend either burning this to a DVD (or copying it to a USB Device) and doing a Clean Install. Just make sure you've backed up all your data.
Q: what about partitions ? windows 7 takes cares of partitions Automatically or we have to do it manually during installation process ??
A: As with all previous versions of windows, you have to choose how you want to partition your hard drive and the size to set.
Q: How to install if you do not have a Windows 7 serial Key
A: - Install Windows 7, and select "automatically activate windows when im online" This will basically allow you to temporary skip this process.
Q: How do you activate windows 7?
A: after installing windows 7, do not connect to the internet. First Run the "windows 7 loader" provided to activate windows 7.
Q: The .iso file i downloads shows up as a winrar file?
A:If your file shows up as a winrar, you must have ISO files associated with winrar, go into winrar's options , then select settings, after go to intergration tab, under "associate winrar with" untick file association with ISO, then the ISO file wont show up as a winrar file. DO NOT open the file using winrar and DO NOT extract it.
