Siamese are ppl cats, they will try and talk to you a lot. Kayylinn's prolly right, they seem to sound less distressed if you talk back. A lot of ppl don't even speak, they just meow back and get into meow matches with them. If you speak calmly he might sort of mimic you a bit.
