His mother was of Jamaican, Cuban and Cherokee descendance. He is the middle child and has two sisters. He has been in the United States since 1995, as an Actor, Model Singer and Film Director. He has appeared in such American television series as My Wife & Kids, CSI: Miami and Passions. He also had a role on All My Children. Aside from acting, Patrick has had a singing career firstly with the boyband Worlds Apart And then auditioned for Simon Cowell, of American Idol fame, who acted as his agent and manager. He also practiced Tae Kwon Do, winning championships at junior and men's heavyweight level. But when he came to America, he supported himself as a personal trainor, as he started taking acting lessons, He finally starting booking roles via Eric Morris. Arriving in Los Angelas he continued perfecting his acting and met up with Gar Lester of JLA Talent, now of the Gar Lester Agency. Marcus appeared in the September 2007 edition of Playgirl Magazine and the magazines website. Unusual for celebrity subjects, Patrick elected to pose full frontal nude for several shots in darkened silhouette.
