"Without music, life would be a mistake."
-Friedrich Nietzsche

Music's a big part of what makes me feel alive. Travel, too. It's absolutely essential to my soul...it leaves a smile on my face and joy in my heart.
This is my attempt to share that. Shows I've loved, other random stuff I feel compelled to document and display. Me just being silly, you name it.
Mostly concert footage though...so for all you vicarious concert-goers out there, enjoy!

To all those I've met in the crowd, or at the bar, or waiting in line at shows...thanks for contributing to the audience and/or not having a huge head, being 8 feet tall and elbowing me while
singing poorly off key throughout the whole show (and ruining my footage!) ;-)

Go Team Avett!
About Me:

I live to travel. Adventure and spontaneity keep life more interesting and rich than any amount of money ever will.
I love music, photography, good books, and story-telling folks who make me laugh.

Hobbies:
Music, Photography, World travel, Laughter

Music:
My favorites are The Avett Brothers, Jimbo Mathus, Liz Phair, G Love and Special Sauce, Ben Harper, Willy Porter, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Freedy Johnston, and more... I grew up sitting on the orange shag carpeting of my parents' living room listening to their vinyl, so I have a real affinity for singer-songwriters and The Beatles. I also love old swing jazz, blues, and almost anything with a good twangy guitar. I have an open mind and love anything that's good, especially if I can dance to it.
Books:
The one in my hand.

hi Angie.... this is Kenny G from BOR saying hello. I hope all is well with you and maybe we might have you in the audience again one day soon. May 30, next Friday, from 9pm-1am we are playing in Delray at O'Connors Pub and it ought to be a really great show! By the way, thanks a lot for your band posts on you tube... ;) Peace!
