I am a military columnist, Army wife, mommy of one, full time college student; military volunteer advocate and founder of the Homefront United Network. Yes my life is crazy busy and hectic....but I love it, and I thank God for it!
Angela Caban has been involved with the military community for 9 years. She has been married to her husband for seven years and they have one son, Avery, who is five years old and expecting a new member to the Caban family this March 2012!
Her husband, who was deployed in 2008, was one of the many soldiers impacted by the unprecedented activation of the National Guard. Angela has an extensive background in Human Resources, Communications and Languages. She graduated from DeVry University in 2011 with a Bachelors' of Science in Business Administration. She is a dedicated writer and founder of the Homefront United Network, a military spouse and family support website created to assist spouses and families through encouragement, educational articles and resources. Angela writes for many online and print publications such as the; Veteran Journal, Local Zip, Military Advertiser and the Voice for Military Families. Angela was also one of the contributing writers for the book "Faith Deployed...Again", which has been published by Moody Publishers and released in August 2011. She is also working on her first book, which will be out in winter of 2011.
Angela dedicates her time to organizations such as the National Military Family Association, Operation Homefront, and Voice of Warriors. She currently resides in Milford, NJ with her family.
