Hello Angela, please let me know if you get this message. If you have to spend $2000 more for the metal frame, please look at the APQS machines. I tried one recently at our Discount Fabric store, and they were selling their floor model for $2000 more than I spent . I would recommend the APQS over the tin lizzie. THERE was just one problem with the one at the store here, whoever put it together didn't match up the middle of the frame, and there was a noticeable bump when quilting. They sold that APQS machine. I'm content to have a 10 foot long frame . I can quilt up to 100 inch wide. But really don't want to anyway!! LOL
