Recently, a group of fifteen-year-old script kiddies posted a video on You tube claiming to have a plan to take down Facebook dot com on the Fifth of November, a reference to Guy Fawkes attempt to blow up the British Parliament building. We, Anonymous, would like to assure you that these children are not actual members of Anonymous. Anonymous does not wish to take down Facebook dot com, as it is a very useful tool for raiding; as well as being a useful website for maintaining social relationships with family and friends...
We, Anonymous, would like to humbly apologize for these children's antics. We assure you that Facebook dot com will not be completely removed from the internet, or defaced in any way shape or form, as these children are not capable of such things. They are merely capable of utilizing the LOIC (Low Oribital Ion Cannon) to form a DDOS (Distributed Denial Of Service) to temporarily overload the website with traffic, causing it to become unresponsive for a short amount of time...
We would also like to inform you that Anonymous does not wish any harm upon any users of Facebook, unless directly acknowledged and with reason to an individual, or any of the staff of Facebook dot com. Anonymous sincerely wishes that no harm, digital or physical, comes to any of these persons...
As for any of our other Anonymous soldiers, we would like to personally remind you not to listen to these children. No matter how "fun" it may seem to take down Facebook dot com, you must realize that it is a stupid idea and will bring no good. You will ruin the name of Anonymous, and you will ruin our future goals. DDOS ing a website with LOIC is not how we function, we are better than that. We are not children who have discovered the internet. We are not script-kiddies who have discovered programming. We are the final boss of the internet. We are hackers, vigilantes, we are Anonymous.
We hope that you accept our apology, and we hope that you understand what we are trying to say...

So I think this comes off as an attention seeking whinge binge but that wasn't my intention. I really do have a tough time coping with the amount of 'feedback' I get in my life. Part of my thinking is that if I call it first, it won't hurt so much when other people try to bring me down with this stuff.
