Frame rates displayed are limited by the monitors refresh rate, and to the best of my knowledge there is no monitor capable of anything near true 1000fps, 240hz is considered insanely high by most.

The one thing that gets me is people who put high end graphic cards such as 580/590 then only have a monitor with 60hz refresh rate.... facepalm. In that situation for real world performance my n570tgx sli will walk all over them hooked up to my 120hz monitor.

You can get full 5.1 out of these from a ps3 or xbox 360 get the digital converter box from the tritton ax pro's. They have built in analog to digital conversion.

get the tritton ax pro dobly digital box and you can hook this up to optical. I get full 5.1 surround sound out of my ps3 with this set up on these speakers and it sounds great.
