My name is Andrew Olivo Parodi. I'm a dancer originally from California but now living in Oregon. (Note: the reason I use the name "Andrew Olivo Parodi" is because I want to include both the last names of my biological father, Parodi, and my stepfather, Olivo.)

I started training as a tap dancer when I was four-years-old. When I was eight-years-old I began training in ballet. During my childhood I took part in productions with Pacific Ballet Theatre (precursor to the current company Oregon Ballet Theatre), and Eugene Ballet.

I attended a high school in Portland, Oregon, with an excellent dance program, Jefferson High School. While at Jefferson, I was a member of the nationally recognized dance company "The Jefferson Dancers." While a member of "The Jefferson Dancers," I toured with the company all over the Pacific Northwest, performing in the finest venues in the state of Oregon, during half-time shows at Blazers Basketball games, and at age 18 I was a star performer in the PBS/Oregon Public Broadcasting special "A Musical Encounter: The Dance Program," which I have uploaded to this account. I also performed independently, such as my solo "Millennium," which I debuted at Dreamswell Theatre is SE Portland as part of program called "The Man Show."

After graudation from Jefferson High School, I studied in New York City at the Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance. (On this channel you can see my tribute to Martha Graham, a solo called "Troy," which I choreographed when I was 19-years-old.) Recently, I have taken part in performances with Willamette Ballet, Pacific Festival Ballet, and Rainbow Dance Theatre. My profile pictures depict me with the girl I danced with after a recent performence with Willamette Ballet.
