Yeah, I don't know what is is about mya and their hoses but they just suck. I just got a little qt for smoking in my room and the hose diameter was so narrow it was rediculous. You can still get good clouds with them provided you have strong lungs lol.

acutally the base DOES fit into the carrying cage, all you have to do is pop off the carrying handle reaal quick and then you can set it down in and then once you've got it in you can pop the carrying handle back on and it's good to go! I had the same exact issue lol
