I'm a 72 year old man , happily married for
49 years ,with a loving family of three children .Born and raised in Manchester,I started singing at the age of seven years[ragtime cowboy joe at the V E celebration street party]---AT SIXTEEN I WAS SINGING IN PUBS AROUND MANCHESTER .In the forces I joined a musical group as vocalist.-- on demob , I moved to yorkshire in 1958, and settled in Sheffield.WHERE I entered the thriving clubland scene ,appearing with;- Dave Berry -Joe Cocker -Englebert Humperdink -and others to many to mention . I played clubland for seventeen years in various outfits until 1972 [when I decided to concentrate on my work in the steelworks]THAT WAS A WASTE OF TIME FOR IN 1984 I WAS MADE REDUNDANT . In 1985 I trained as a joiner and worked in the trade happily until retirement [2002] . In 1986 I moved to my present address in Barnsley.and retired from work in 2002.then I started doing my c/ds and fundraising for charity. my life has been very full [and good] I hope all of yours will be as good!
