Silly beast. *smile* Maru is a male straight-eared Scottish Fold cat, for those who were wondering. He's not fat, just chunky, which is a characteristic of the breed.

Again, this is like watching paint dry, but curiously calming and peaceful. That cat is quite the hedonist. When I die, I want to come back as Maru!

@Lonewolf15100 The dog is large, and in the wild, dogs hunt in packs, making them very very dangerous to Bambi. The cat, OTOH, was small, and cats hunt alone. The mama deer had to choose, so she did.

Interesting to see him wet. It's fascinating to see how thin cats actually are, under all that fur. He sure is a handsome guy.... and he seems to know it, like handsome guys of all species seem to!

He just cannot believe he can't dig that sucker open, can he. Too funny. It must be funky -smelling to him down the drain-- he keeps sniffing at it. And later on in the vid, he's smelling at the overflow drain hole, too.

Very peaceful. A little like watching paint dry, lol, but restful to watch him licking his paws, washing his face, yawning around everything, and just generally happy to be a well-cared-for kitty in a comfy place.

Maru's owner is an artist, or has an artist's heart, to see such beauty in her pet. The side-on view of his eye was particularly fascinating. As were the views of his feet and pads.

I don't know if he's the sharpest tack in the box, but he sure is cute. And irrepressible. And athletic. And determined.

He looks like me, last time I tried to fit in an airline seat. Except way cuter.

Haunting sound track, angsty to the max, IMO a life-altering movie, for anyone enlightened enough to watch with their hearts instead of their heads.

I have one of these stranded inside one of my central A/C ventilation ducts at the moment-- his little trill echoes inside my living room, and it's very weird. Can't see him, but I hear him a few times a day. A/C guy is coming tomorrow to see if he can find where Mr. Froggie came in and hopefully...
