Julfekar Ahmad Shah is a Tausug/Suluk from Sabah, Malaysia known to be as JULFEKAR in the industry. He was born on the 1st October 1964. Being a successful mainstream producer, composer, lyricist, arranger, background music writer, poet and a literature activist, he engaged into a different genre of art project such as mainstream music and film industries in Malaysia. JULFEKAR also slotted a different artiste and singers from different countries.

JULFEKAR had just finished his first compilation album entitled "ILHAM JULFEKAR", with his collaboration with a number of violinist, violist & cellist called THE STRINGERS. This album is an appreciation of his creation for all this while. The concept of this album is pop-classical. The album contains 20 songs, 13 songs in album 'ILHAM Julfekar" that has previously produced for his few famous artiste and singers and 7 new songs in the album "JULFEKAR & The Stringers" rendered by JULFEKAR himself.
The whole compilation of two albums "ILHAM Julfekar" and "JULFEKAR and The Stringers" is generally termed as "ILHAM JULFEKAR". Julfekar's new single "Melakar Rindu" would be loaded in the album "ILHAM Julfekar". This song is also an Original Soundtrack (OST) for TV Episodic Drama, "TRILOGI CINTA" at TV1 RTM.
Julfekar will be engaging himself to collaborate with one of the famous painters and visual artists from the Philippines, Rameer Tawasil (RAMEETA) which is famous with the Ukkilism form of rendition. The collaboration would be known as a sort of "JULFEKAR IN THE BRUSH OF RAMEETA". JULFEKAR would be portrayed in the form of portrait in the Rameeta's paintings.
