Antics Performance is a hip hop dance/theater company based in Los Angeles under the artistic direction of Amy Catfox Campion. Antics Performance creates multi-media urban dance performances that incorporate breakdancing, locking, popping, Capoeira, DJs, spoken word, theater, and film into hand-clapping, foot-stomping performances. Antics Performance is committed to innovating the realm of hip hop dance/theater as well as participating in community outreach through residencies, workshops, and lecture/demonstrations.

Amy Campion brings rawness and opinions to the stage through the language of hip hop. Drawing inspiration from breaking, locking, hip hop, and Capoeira, Campion makes performances which cross artistic boundaries by overlapping the mediums of street dance, poetry, theater, film, and music. Antics Performance is dedicated to breaking thorough cultural boundaries by sharing ideas and experiences through multimedia hip hop dance/theater. Campion's recent creations range from Breaking the Cypher, a multimedia street dance spectacular, to Diamonds, a two-woman hip hop dance/theater play, to BGirls or Be Girls, an out-spoken performance about the struggles of women who break(breakdance).
