During Canada's annual war on seals, hundreds of thousands of baby seals are killed for their skin in the most horrific ways imaginable. Seals stand no chance against club-wielding trappers who are after their fur, and they must look on as fellow pups are bludgeoned to death before meeting the same bloody fate.
And this is just barbaric, I understand, clubbing them / beating them to death is the cheapest way to kill them, but why? Since when was money more important than just the concept of humanity, love, compassion.
Canadian sealers beat baby seals with clubs could you imagine if they were doing the same thing to cats or dogs?
I love Canada as my home country but the government is rediculous right now. I love my country of Canada but we need to start being more humane and loving towards animals because they are living things and man could not survive without animals.
