Hi! My name is Devon. I live in Montana. I'm 20 years old. I will soon be starting my sophomore year of college (can't wait!). I write left-handed. I'm 6'2" tall (1.87 m).
I believe everything goes in cycles, like the push and pull of the tide or the steady change of the seasons. I kind of bounce around between atheism and Christianity. I've also shown a lot of interest in pagan religions, especially Druidry because of my deep love of plants. However, all I could find about it was people wanting me to give them money to join their "Order". So I decided it's probably a sham. At least with Christianity you can get in the door before they start the shameless money griping. This year is going to be a year of self-improvement. I plan to study more, read more, exercise more (to get pretty muscles), eat better and take better care of myself, cultivate new skills, volunteer, and be more involved in social life. It sounds like a lot, but I think a little less non-educational internet time and television watching will make it possible. I tried polyphasic sleep to add more time to my day, but I currently lack the willpower to get into the cycle. Maybe adding willpower could go on the list too.

Interests

My latest interest/obsession is tarantulas! I currently have 16 tarantulas, and I'm always looking for more! I've always excelled at mathematics more than anything, but found it dull in comparison to science, but my interest has been rekindled by the introduction of fractal geometry, which I find truly captivating. Fractal images are so beautiful and perfect! I like anything radioactive, or having to do with radioactivity, but I like a lot of things which include music (lots of different kinds), painting (oil), dancing, growing plants, chemistry, physics, biology, reading, golfing, watching my classmates play volleyball, watching chick flicks, and watching horror films (depending on my mood). I also collect lots of things like: plants, rocks, ties, stamps, postcards, african tribal masks, books, basically everything (especially if it has no useful purpose). I (try to) play several instruments such as percussion (especially bells, chimes, xylo, marimba, and vibes), piano, and violin (sad, sad sound). Not sure if this goes without saying, but I love electricity and tinkering with it.
