In September 2011, the Kawartha Pine Ridge District School Board voted to close P.C.V.S. after a decision from the Administrative Review Committee (ARC). One of the oldest high schools in Canada and the only downtown school in Peterborough, P.C.V.S. is a vital part of the downtown core. It is impossible to quantify the devastating impact the closure of this unique arts focused high school could have on generations of future students. Please join the hundreds of community members and voices that know Peterborough needs P.C.V.S.

UPDATE: On December 20th, the Minister of Education appointed an independent facilitator to review the process that lead up to the board's decision to close PCVS. A small victory, but an important one on the road to saving this historic school from closure. Thank you for your continued support.
