Yes, my name really is Amanda Blue; it has always been since birth. Unique, huh? Not really. I have a friend with the same second name: Isiah Blue. He's actually two years older, so he's the original 'blue.'

Why Amanda Blue? No, I wasn't a blue baby when I was born but yes, my favorite color is indeed blue. My dad named me. I don't know what the deal with Amanda is; I guess he just liked the name. It's actually a Latin name meaning "fit to be loved." I was born in 1988, and in the Chinese calendar, it was the year of the blue dragon, hence the second name Blue.
