Friends have asked us about our experience with people in China wanting to photograph our children. We loved it (most of the time), although it did get tiring after one month in the country.
The people there were so warm and friendly, so it was easy to be pleasant. But personal space in China is very different from personal space in the US!
This was at the Kung Fu Shaolin Temple in Henan Province.

"Giving back to the ASL Community"
This particular clip that we have added ASL to has been in the newspaper and media this past week, and the video itself reached 27 million views. Parents support it, Psychologists are against it.
ASL Music videos are nice...for happy happy, but where is the real stuff? The news, information, stories, poems, events, and other things that can benefit the ASL Community as a whole for us all to share, network, and inform - we need more ASL videos on YouTube.
Challenge to ASL Students - upload for us all to share, not music, but something that gives back to the community, the community that has taught you the beautiful, rich, expressive, and real language of ASL.
