Uh, no one has mentioned but surely you know that most of this is footage from the film "Grand Prix" staring James Garner, the guy in the white car, white helmet. The guy yelling "he's on fire" is the late and very great Formula One Champion Phil Hill.

You should have mentioned tires become too old to use (varies with conditions and the tire itself, as you know) but six years generally is the limit, plus show how to read the tire manufactured date code on the sidewall.

I saw this car at SEMA a few years ago and what they claim are diamonds are rhinestones. They appeared to be on a cloth or plastic backing which was applied very expertly to the body. I took a number of photos of it. It was very well done.
