@Daneking1992 , have you looked here on you tube for the videos with johnny and ville together? there are at least two of them, don't know what songs go with them, but shots of ville, shots of johnny and obviously making the comparison.

@akrivosdiavolos73 yes, dave did try to kill himself a couple of times. michael hutchence was married at the time he killed himself, his wife just having left him for bob geldof. people are assholes.

of course, cash's version is the best, but this is actually a very upbeat and current version of the song that can't easily be dismissed just because some people don't like him. cash's version is more depressing and more spot on to where he was coming from, but what's wrong with this version?
