After todays lecture on Reactions to Modernism, we thought wed attempt the unattemptable.

Thats right.

We clapped 'clapping music' by Steve Reich.

But shortened it because 12 bars of each phrase would be TOO LONG.

If you werent in the lecture or DONT GET IT

its one phrase played by both CLAPPERS.

Clapper 1 - Amy - claps the phrase over and over again
Clapper 2 - Martin - claps the phrase over and over again but shifts the phrase forward by a quaver every SO OFTEN.

Eventuallllllly, the phrases join together again after some INTENSE PHASING.

its REALLY HARD.
