Here at All diced Up we take pride in our profession. Chef Avery Roemer is fully committed to the Culinary Arts and will always provide the best service possible. A passion for food and a long-standing family tradition influenced Executive Chef Avery Roemer. Roemer developed her culinary curiosity while helping at her aunt's restaurant in Anchorage, Alaska at age five. As a young girl she would often cook for her family and pretend she was hosting her own cooking shows. Roemer attended the Los Angeles Culinary Institute apprenticing under Certified Master Chefs. She assisted instructing classes and participating in many competitions. Roemer eventually returned to Alaska where she helped in the launching of an innovative Italian restaurant in Anchorage. Returning to Los Angeles proved to have more opportunity for growth and experience in the culinary arts. She gained prominent fine dining experience at some of Los Angeles's top restaurants such as Spago's of Beverly Hills, home to Celebrity Chef Wolfgang Puck. Chef Avery then entered in to the catering world, where she quickly topped her peers and excelled in the art of catering a nd event planning. Thereafter, Chef Roemer teaches culinary arts at a local college and private elementary schools. Roemer still continues to shadow at restaurants as a way of continuing to bring restaurant quality food to the catering industry and gain knowledge from Los Angeles' most reputable Chefs. She has served on the Board of Director's for the ICA Culinary Council and is currently a member of The American Culinary Federation, Worldwide Chefs Association and the American Personal and Private Association and continues education through the ACF accreditation program as well as other seminars and classes. chef Roemer recently received a silver meda in the Kitchen Contenders Catering Chefs Challenge held in Las Vegas.
