Some people say it is a sin to ask for dream meanings. I don't think it is a sin to ask for dream meanings. From my view, we dream for three reasons. One because we have something on our mind that replays in our dream or we have too much stress. Second reason is a message. I believe Allah sends us a hint of what may happen in the future or to just warn us of something. We try to understand it and try to change it to the better. 99.5% of the times, we can't change it but we can pray for our safety. Third sometimes we have dreams coming from the devil.
