Acts 17:6 (NKJV) - We too want to be guilty of, "turning this world upside down" for Jesus Christ
all4wut? is a powerful reminder that God is speaking every day out of the brokenness of our lives. Produced by Outer Limit Recording Studio, in Buffalo, NY, their debut album delivers a unique sound that fans love to hear and worship too. From the high-energy remix of "Be Still", to the powerful "Prodigal Son", to the home runs, "In His Grip" & "Upside Down". Lakeside Memoirs takes you on a journey to reveal its message of God's mercy and grace. "I wanted to write songs that spoke to people in authentic ways they could relate to and would touch their lives." Brennan says. "Genuine struggles. Genuine issues. Genuine problems. Because every song about what really goes on in our lives is an opportunity to sing about the real hope and unconditional love that can be found in Jesus."
"In His Grip" is an unforgettable example. Based on a true story, Brennan captures the tough times and God's love during his struggles with Crohn's disease. "That Same Old Road." is a non-stop reminder that God's love can change a broken situation into an example of God's transforming power. Everyone's "Same Old Road" may be different, but it is one we travel all too often. With God, we find a new road that leads to an eternity with our Father in heaven. God changes us from within and uses our life story to reach others in the same way.
The core message of the entire album, he says, is "no matter how many mess ups we've had or trials we have faced, it's the brokenness of our lives that God takes and flips around for His kingdom by giving us a real example to share with others around us.
Ultimately, "all4wut?" hopes to communicate the message that God is indeed at work in all our lives, in every circumstance, in every moment of our existence. And even in the silence, God works while we sleep. For there is still great hope to be shared, a story to be told, and someone who needs the encouragement.
