I'm a follower of Christ even though I do a crappy job some times. I still strive to serve Him. He saved me out of the idea that I was basically a good person. The turning point in my testimony was the moment I saw my sin and saw His love. I read His word, pray, witness, and surround myself with other believers not because I'm trying to earn or remain saved but because I am saved and I love Him.
