Thank you for your comments. To those who do not share the same rights as the rest of us, the issue of gay marriage is anything but "petty". If you were denied the same rights as others based on your beliefs, preferences, etc., you would be singing a different tune. Civil rights laws in this country specifically forbid these kinds of discrimination.
