About Me:
Life was a veritable struggle for Alfonso. Coming into a new country as an immigrant, he recalls feeling as though he was "very low on the economic scale." Growing up, he was surrounded by crime and drugs. As he got old however, he created his own mantra, his own philosophy if you will. "Live a good life." And to this day, he intends to build just that by focusing, and hopefully achieving his goals in life. "I'm in my thirties and I've accomplished only 2% of my goals." It seems there's always more to reach for.
So what has made Alfonso a success, one to call a rags to riches story?
Alfonso has been an entrepreneur for 13 years. He is the CEO and founder of Rugged Culture Inc., a clothing company that was founded in 1998 and grew to 18 locations across Canada. In 2002 Alfonso got into the real estate investing arena and founded Cuadra Investments and Cuadra Group Inc., both real estate invesment and management firms. In 2005 he founded FUSION 1 IMPORTS, an import, export and consulting firm with offices in Canada and China. As a result of this Alfonso has done extensive travelling to build solid connections all over the world, including China (a trip he makes 8 times a year). In 2008 Alfonso founded SolvePro Service Inc. and in 2009 he founded SolvePro Property Management and SolvePro Realty Investments Inc. with focuses on real estate investment, management, and development. Alfonso has put together a winning team for SolvePro Services Inc., SolvePro Property Management and SolvePro Services Realty Investments Inc. and is ready to continue expansion. Due to the success of the above mentioned businesses which he developed from the ground up Alfonso has been featured in such magazines as Reader's Digest, At Night, M.O.B., Mirror, other print media such as the Ottawa X-Press, The Ottawa Citizen, The Ottawa Sun and La Prensa and has even appeared on Rogers Cable Television, CBC, The A Channel, The New RO and many more.
"I decided to go against the grain. I always see opportunity where others see disaster. I was stereotyped because of my background, being an immigrant, being poor etc. But I believe there's something wrong with that, with putting people down. I didn't have any role models, so I had to believe in myself."
