@Simpsonfreak1 This was actually made out of diecast metal as well. Only the white rings with the letters imprinted are made of plastic. It is the less expensive version, however. I believe at one point this retailed for $60 while the larger, higher quality version sold for $200.

@somebodyelse2255 Very astute! That was something I noticed as well, so I used modeling clay to create two more of those bumps so that it would actually require all 5 letters to open.

@BJrockk Actually, every cryptex that was sent out as part of this challenge had the same code, GRAIL, but it is pretty easy to change by disassembling it and then rotating the white plastic rings that the letters are printed on.
