Heavenly Beings, and children of the most high God.

In the School of Christ & at the feet of Jesus.

It is my greatest, noblest pleasure to be acquainted with the most high God, the Creator of all things, the blessed God, my Father and Friend, my Redeemer, Provider, Sustain-er and Keeper of my immortal soul. I thank my Lord & Savior that He has not left me to feel after Him in the darkness of my nature, nor to worship the unknown God, but He has diplayed His wisdom, power, and goodness in all His works, and has revealed His will in the scriptures of truth. When I was dead in my iniquities, having no eyes to see Him, no ears hear Him, no taste to relish His joys, no intelligence to know Him, But His Holy Spirit has quickend me, has brought me into a new world as a new creature, has giving me spiritual perception has opened to me His Word as light, guide,solace,joy. O what wonders we see in the old rugget croos of Jesus. His croos has brought me near, when I was a stranger, an outcast, a slave, a rebel, the wondrous croos has softened my heart, has made me the Father's child, has admitted me unto His family, has made me joint-heir with Jesus Christ. In the words of the Apostle Paul "O what a wretched man that I am" By grace I have been saved through faith. ( Rom: 7-24. Ephesians: 2-8. ) Thanks be to God, that under the conviction of the Holy Spirit, I learn that the more I do, the worse I am. the more I know, the less I know. The more holiness I have, the more sinful I am. The more I love, the more there is to love. "O wretched man that I am" Before God I am nothing but vanity, iniquity, perishing; Sin has forfeited God's favor, stripped me of His image, banished me from His presence, expose me to the curse of His holy law. I cannot deliver myself, and I am in despair. But a resource is found in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, the Savior of all men, specially those that are sinners, and recognize their condition. Glory to God the Father for His devise of an everlasting plan, honourable to His perfection, and which angels desired to look into." O, God give me that faith which is the means of salvation, and the principle and medium of all godliness. May I be saved by grace through faith. Live by faith, feel the joy of faith, do the work of faith. Perceiving nothing in myself. May I find in Christ, wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption. ( Mat 28:18 ) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. ( Mat 28:19 ) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: ( Mat 28:20 ) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen. ( 2Ti 4:1 ) I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; ( 2Ti 4:2 ) Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. ( 2Ti 4:3 ) For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; ( 2Ti 4:4 ) And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. ( 2Ti 4:5 ) But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. ( Acts 1:8) But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. ( Acts 4:31 ) And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness. ( Acts 4:33 ) And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all. ( 2Ti 2:15 ) Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. ( 1Ti 4:16 ) Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. ( 2Ti 3:16 ) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: ( 2Ti 3:17 ) That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
