About Me:

Since 2006, Alexander Freeman has been writing, producing, directing, and editing various films including dramas and documentaries. Alexander made his directorial debut on October 15th, 2008 with an adaptation of the poem "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe starring Paul Horn (Gone Baby Gone), which screened at the Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline, MA. For his work as co-producer, co-director and editor of "I Care: A Documentary About Independent Living", Alexander was one of only three people selected internationally for the VSA 2010 AFI-Discovery Channel SILVERDOCS Apprenticeship program. Alexander's film "Meet Annabelle" was chosen for Official Selection at the 2012 Picture This Film Festival, an International Disability Film Festival and the 2011 Arlington International Film Festival. Alexander was born with cerebral palsy and is the Founder of OUTCAST PRODUCTIONS. OUTCAST PRODUCTIONS is an independent production company that is dedicated to creating and distributing films that focus on disability, sexuality and identity replacing the accepted norm. Alexander is currently enrolled at Emerson College where he studies directing.
