Some may have noticed we are now fully cooperating with African Wildlife Foundation to connect all who shared the encounter by watching the video to the excellent work done by AWF in support of mountain gorilla conservation. There is now a call to action message that runs over the encounter footage. This is just the beginning of a broader effort so stay tuned and by all means continue to share the video...it will really help. Check blog.commonflat.com

@hagdc thanks for your comment. I am not a primate expert but in prepping for this trip we learned that appropriate behavior around mountain gorillas is to appear quiet and submissive trying to avoid eye contact and showing teeth especially directly to the dominant male silverback. That said - s...
